Fun Educational Activities
We recognise that learning from home can be challenging for our pupils and their families. Our aim it to help parents and carers to support their child’s learning and development.
For some of our pupils, this may include joining on-line lessons, completing tasks set by their teacher on Class Dojo or undertaking learning activities. For other pupils, it may be more appropriate for us to provide physical resources such as our wonderful sensory bags, story bags and number bags.
We can offer appropriate specialist provision for your child at home such as visuals, speech and language activities or emotional wellbeing support. Class teacher will work with each family to see how we can best support you all to learn and have fun at home.
This year we have moved to the Government approved Little Wandle Letter and Sounds revised SSP scheme. We will be following the SEND programme and below you will be able to find videos and guides to help you at home. Rather than sending physical reading books home, we decided as a school that these can be accessed online using your child’s Collins Big Cat logins. If you do not have these details, please contact your child’s teacher. These books will be the same as those your child is reading at school and linked directly to the correct phonics stage for your child.
