Term Time Holidays & Pupil Absence

We do not authorise holidays in term time unless extenuating circumstances apply. Unauthorised term time holiday absence will be reported to the Attendance and Pupil Support Service; we are under a duty to do this. Where unauthorised leave is taken, the Governing Body will support fixed penalty fines. This will apply to any parents/carers who book holidays in term time.  Where parents/carers wish to take their child(ren) out of school during term time, they should complete the leave of absence form which is available from the office.
