Community Groups & Clubs
Pennine Gymnastics Club
Huddersfield’s largest gymnastics club, operating over three facilities, in and around Huddersfield.
Both our gymnastics and parkour sessions are centred around fun and enjoyment, whilst specialising in the exciting skills kids love to learn; from somersaults and backflips to handspring vaults and aerials. Our goal is supporting the fitness and physical development of all our members, and at the same time fostering a love for sport and participating.
Unlike traditional Gymnastics clubs, we do not intensively train kids to compete at a competitive level. Instead, we strive to be a club based around intrinsic reward, using praise and encouragement as a tool to motivate each child in achieving their goals.
With Gymnastics and Parkour classes for children of all ages and abilities. From pre-school, recreational and advanced gymnastics classes, to our high energy parkour sessions; we have a class for every child!
All our sessions are run by highly qualified and experienced coaches, with the lowest coach to gymnast ratio around. We believe having more coaches in the gym, allows us to offer a better quality of service and support for children’s individual learning needs.
Shabang
Shabang Inclusive Learning is an award winning, specialist charitable arts organisation based in West Yorkshire delivering projects to children with additional needs and their families.
We create and deliver events for families and perform accessible shows with music and songs which we sign in Makaton (communication sign language for people with additional needs).
We make books for teachers and create DVDs and CDs from our original, quirky and imaginative performances.
